作者簡介
（薩拉·歐文-斯通布雷克）博士畢業於劍橋大學，現任澳大利亞天主教大學（Australian Catholic University）歷史與西方文明副教授。她曾在牛津大學沃爾森學院（Wolfson College）擔任初級研究員。她著有多部作品，包括《自然科學與大英帝國的起源》（Natural Science and the Origins of the British Empire）、《歷史的祭司：在無歷史感的時代中守護過去》（ Priests of History: Stewarding the Past in an Ahistoric Age）。薩拉與丈夫喬納森育有三個孩子，現居澳大利亞悉尼郊外的霍克斯伯里地區。
